An articulated vehicle consists of a tractor unit connected to a semi-trailer. The two parts are joined by an articulated coupling. It is a solution for full loads and substantial volumes.

DigiCompany provides road freight services for businesses in Rome and the surrounding province, with collections throughout Italy and deliveries to European destinations, subject to feasibility. We handle palletised goods, bulky loads and full truckloads using articulated lorries, rigid trucks and dropside vans.
Each request is assessed against the goods, route, available vehicles and loading and unloading conditions. We agree the transport arrangements before confirming the service and provide proof of delivery afterwards.

Rigid truck
A rigid truck has its cab and cargo body on the same chassis. Unlike an articulated lorry, the vehicle shown does not have a separate semi-trailer.
Box van
It has a commercial vehicle cab with a box body fitted behind it. The illustration shows a closed box body, which differs from a conventional panel van.
Illustrations show indicative vehicle types. Dimensions, payload and equipment are checked for each transport request.
Full truckload transport
Full truckload transport, or FTL, uses a vehicle dedicated to your consignment. It can suit substantial loads, transfers between business sites and regular movements between warehouses or distribution centres.
We assess vehicle requirements using the total load dimensions and weight, the number of pallets or packages, and whether items can be stacked. Access at both ends of the journey is also part of the assessment.
Tell us about loading bays, handling equipment, restricted access and any specific vehicle requirements. These need to be checked rather than assumed to be available.
Palletised goods and bulky loads
We transport standard and non-standard pallets, packaged industrial goods and bulky items within normal road-transport limits. Provide the dimensions and weight of each item as well as the overall load.
Bulky goods are not the same as abnormal loads requiring special transport arrangements. Abnormal-load transport, ADR dangerous goods and cold-chain services are outside our scope. We do not provide household or office removals.
Scheduled linehaul between hubs and distribution centres
Linehaul provides repeated connections between hubs, warehouses and distribution centres. DigiCompany can operate these services 365 days a year, with routes and frequencies agreed with the customer.
For recurring flows, share the collection and delivery locations, expected volumes, preferred time windows and required frequency. These details form the basis of the schedule and transport proposal.
The 365-day availability applies to agreed linehaul arrangements. Other transport requests are assessed and scheduled individually.
Collections in Italy and European deliveries
We arrange collections throughout Italy and assess deliveries to European destinations according to the load and route. Send the exact collection and delivery addresses, rather than only the cities, so access and operating conditions can be reviewed.
Transit times, vehicle requirements and feasibility are confirmed for the specific request. We do not apply a single delivery-time promise to every destination.

Share the shipment details
Include the goods description, quantity, dimensions, weight, addresses and preferred dates. Let us know whether pallets are stackable and what equipment is available for loading and unloading.
Agree the transport arrangements
We assess the load, vehicle requirements, route and site access. The proposal sets out the arrangements for the requested service, including collection and delivery timing.
Receive proof of delivery
After delivery, we provide proof of delivery to the customer. This confirms delivery of the goods; it is not a real-time tracking service.
What affects the quote?
The quote depends on the route, distance, load dimensions and weight, vehicle requirements, handling arrangements and schedule. Access constraints and the frequency of recurring work also affect planning.
For a regular linehaul service, provide expected volumes and the proposed timetable. For a one-off shipment, provide the complete load details and requested dates.
Frequently asked questions
Can we track shipments online?
No. DigiCompany provides proof of delivery, but not real-time online shipment tracking. Inventory updates available through our warehouse services relate to stock records, not vehicle tracking.
Can we combine transport with storage or goods handling?
Yes. We can assess a combined service involving warehousing and storage or loading, unloading and goods handling. The activities included are agreed in the proposal.
Do you transport dangerous or refrigerated goods?
No. ADR dangerous goods and products requiring a cold chain or controlled temperature are outside our service scope.
How much notice should we give?
Send your request as early as possible, particularly for full loads or recurring routes. Dates depend on feasibility, availability and complete information about the shipment.
